Blue Bruises is Mckensi's first completed directed film. It explores the perspective of a Trinidadian immigrant who journeys back to her country of birth to find. How do I return home when I physically cannot? "Blue Bruises" is an experimental short film following the meditative journey of a Trinidadian immigrant through her subconscious. Here she confronts traditional Trinidadian Folklore and Carnival characters in the image of herself and returns home to find the cure to a crisis that she and her friend face. ---CREDITS: Written and Directed by Mckensi Scy Pascall.
